We’ve been curious about Slovenia for some time and decided this is the year to tackle new climbs and new scenery spanning from the eastern Carnic Alps into Slovenia and back again.
This is rated a 4-pigger tour due to the challenging mountainous terrain, consistent rolling hills, and longer routes. Serious folks that may consider themselves more 3-pigger material but are mountain-curious should consider this tour as we expect it to be less intense than our Italian Dolomites or Alps tours. Please contact us if you are unsure if this tour is for you.
The trip is not well suited for non-riders because we are on our bikes for most of the day. However we have had non-riding guests come who had a great time. Write us if you are interested and we will discuss your interests and see if this would be a good trip for you.

Weather: Daytime temps range between 65 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit, but there is always the possibility of harsh weather, especially at the summits, and cool temperatures in the evening
